Welcoming pilgrims.
After the Way you can experience it from the other side of the door: listen, prepare the spaces and accompany those who arrive.
Hospitaleros Voluntarios · FEAACS
La Federación Española de Asociaciones de Amigos del Camino de Santiago coordinates a volunteer program in the albergues. It requires prior pilgrimage experience and preparatory training; the standard shifts indicated are 15 days.
Assignments depend on the needs and availability of volunteers. Contact the Federation directly for up-to-date requirements, courses and actual opportunities.

Reception in parishes
To help with hospitality or activities at a church on the Way, contact the parish or diocese of the place. Ask which tasks are expected, for how long and what preparation is needed.
